i'm using blue zeta cam (0.79 Joker) with floppydtv....no freezing sometimes scrambled channel screen flicks up for a split second before channels displays that pretty rare though.....1 issue cannot get g.o.l.d. +1 to show, epg ok, all other services on the same transponder fine.....also it shows using other apps, strange?

Thanks for the replies, you are all using firmware that turns the Zeta Blue into a joker but the firmware posted about in this thread does not. I would like to try the firmware flashed with a funcard since I don't have a CAS programmer. Also I read somewhere that the latest Zeta Blue on sale now cannot be altered to a joker anymore using a CAS, is this true?

I've just made enquiries with a Zeta Blue supplier too, they also said that the latest Zeta's can't be uploaded with the Joker F/W.!!
Can anyone confirm this.? i was under the impression that they could still be changed with the infinity usb and and funcard.?? Mort.. |

Will that Zeta F/W allow me to get the same channels as the Joker F/W.? I'm just getting to grips with this and am just ordering my equipment, It appears that most people are using the Zeta with Joker F/W. I don't have a CAS but have just ordered the Infinate USB phionix and a Fun5. Mort.. |

Just a bit of info for everyone. The latest zeta blues marked CAXX-0101 available from several suppliers have 2 tracks on the circuitboard cut to prevent reprogramming via a cas interface. As others say in this thread, they can be updated using a funcard to v2C272X firmware and accept a BK, but the picture kept freezing with that version of firmware for me. I have however successfully opened up the the Zetablue, soldered wires over the cut tracks, and reprogrammed with joker 0.79 using a cas.
