Hi, I'm using a joker cam flashed with ver 0.80 firmware but am having issues with it. Would like to flash it with 0.79, do i use the same files to flash the joker as used to flash zeta into a joker?

Yes, the Joker 0.79 will work on a Zeta and a Joker.

Update as in update the keys - how long are you leaving it? are you leaving it on a subscription channel? Have you tried changing channels, then leaving it?

No, not to update the keys. I am trying to change firmware on the cam. This can be done using a funcard with firmware flash. To change the firmware I load cam into tv ci slot then put funcard into cam? Can the cam firmware be changed this way or am I going down the wrong path? Detailed tutorial on how to change cam firmware are a bit vauge. I want to change the firmware as current firmware doesn't allow sound on hd channels.

I'm guessing your sound isssue is probably due to the HD chanels using ac3 and may be your TV doesn't support this

No, I think the sound issue is down to the cam firmware. The sound on hd channels is broadcast in dolby digital + which the tv supports. Also BBC HD sound is fine & about 2 weeks ago I had sound on all HD channels for a couple of days then it went off??
