hi guys just got a pace 2600 c1 for use in spain.
does anyone use this model ? could you tell me what software / epg version etc you are on ? many thanks<!-- google_ad_section_end --> |

hi
this is considered to be the best standard sky box for fringe areas like spain, and performs very well, especially ewhen compared to paces latest offerings (440 and 445) which are pretty cxxp. the latest version of software is 3.7.6 hope this helps |

hi hex how many channels can you see i can only upto 149, and im on 3.2.x epg
have you left your box connected to a dish ? if so how long for ? mine has been on for a week now and no sign of a upgrade. |

Epg updates are not broadcast continually. Leave it plugged in and at least on standby and it should update eventually - although it might take a few months!

I can only see up to 200 channels, sometimes only 4 channels.
![]() Box has been left on feed since 1st March this year, but no luck. From searches on web, this box seam to get updates in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and end of March. But so far I havnt had any luck. hex |

You should be able to force an update by connecting it to a suitable dish, holding the "backup" button on the front panel and switching power ON at the wall. Release "backup" when all LEDs illuminate then wait 15 minutes.

There is no point in force update unless there is update code
in stream for particular model. 2600 code is rarely in stream. I've been waiting for damn thing for 6 weeks now. ![]() hex |
