I'm new at this so can anyone give me the programs and information i need to chip my cable modem and make it faster, I have a Scientific Atlanta and i'm on Virgin Media

The one time I will say it, as much as I don't like to, but you really need to read around before asking such a generic question.

You can't expect it all answered here.

Read around on the forum and look out for flashing a webstar by serial or max232.

Just have a read first then ask afterwards maybe with some more specific questions.

Recomend you don,t "modify" any VirginMedia Equipment you currently Pay 4.or Hire from C.Company.
