This dreadful install is a hundred yards from the main road through Galashiels town centre, on a reasonably busy street.

Its installed so badly I dont know where to start, but

1) black or brown cable would have been preferable

2) theres about 10 feet too much cable - it should have been trimmed

3) the plastic cover plate at the hole in the wall appears to be broken

4) there could be a hefty compensation claim if someone trips over that loose cable

also it would have been neater if the installer had drilled through the side wall the dish is installed on to save taking the cable to the front of the house for a straight down the wall cable run ?

Yup - its half a mile from the local high school and dozens of kids pass it every day. Its only a matter of time.......

hey thats my house took me all weekend the do that ! the excess cable is a drip loop !!!!!

i wouldn't trip over it would end up with dish on your head as well and maybe the side of the house !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
