hiya thanks for all the great work on here but i must just be thick
i can seem to find thor , can find hotbird and astra 23 on my motorised system , im in the midlands and have set the lat to 52 and long to 00, in the memory bu with all i have tried just cant get thor, i have the dish lined up with the midday sun , i have tried various elevations and still get the other 2 channels , on saying that hotbird is showing a lot of arab stations which i didnt think it did, on hotbird yet when im in the motorised section of the setup its shows as having found hotbird, yet astra 23 shows as located astra 23 when its shoiwing what looks like hotbird italian french and spanish german, its as if its all mixed up
any help would be great , i set the delination to 7, but ive tried all different ones
just annoying that im getting a couple only i tried for 2 days now
any advise would be great

ps
should the dish look like its leaning towards the motor or away , i have a tecnomate box and motor (delination setting)
my disk attaches below the motor unlike the ones in the pix that have the motor pole at the top

wlecome to the forum.
can you please provide some more information regarding your system:
What satellite receiver make/model are you using?
What Size Dish are you using?
What motor do you have?
Generally I would ignore the listings in your receiver as differnet satellites can broadcast using the same frequency and settings.
Check the screen logo, for the channel you're viewing, then check it's frequency and check which satellite you're actually on using either of these web sites:
