Default weird problem with modem

oay, i'm using a 5100 with sigma on it, and for the past two days i've been totally unable to access the config pages. the modem doesn't respond to pings or anythong at 192.168.100.1 i tried reflashing it with the sigma firmware i originally put on, with absolutely no difference. anyone got any ideas how to get back from this?

nope can't telnet or anything. the modem doesnt respond to anythign on the address you'd expect. it was still routing packets. i've pulled it for now, gonna do a full 2mb flash, see if maybe something got screwed up.

Connect the mode, then go to command prompt and type:

ipconfig /all

Then post the details in here.

i reflashed the modem and it works now. it seems it *was* a problem with the modem.

wasn't a problem with the computer as i tried three different machiens connected directly *and* through a router, obviously rebooting the modem each time.
