hi i got prob with my new starview 4 i got new hdd and it works fine after i format but every time i disconnect it and plug it into my laptop to transfer files and as soon i connect it back to the box it ask me to format again which it lose all the files i already got can any1 help me thx

Hiya
You cannot use the HDD on the stv4 and your laptop without the need to reformat every time you plug it back into your stv4. You will have to use it for one or the other I'm afraid. Not 100% sure why but someone else asked and was told you can't. Maybe due to the format type? Hope this helps. |
