at the same time? i have my subbed modem in my living room and i now have a clone upstairs, but depending which one is connected first the other won't connect to the net? so my question is do i need a signal booster. i'm using a 4 way splitter i got from maplins.
ps subbed modem shows 41 db and clone 32 db. i have a v+ running from the splitter too. cheers |

lol im getting Receive Power -17.6 dBmV right now on the modem im using to connect to the internet to post this... i think 32db is fine
i tried a signal booster but the bi-directional port didnt even boost anything only the TV outputs did and they dont work for modems. Maybe you will have better luck with the signal booster if you decide to get one. |

Sounds like your running the same mac on both modems, if you connect one and then the other does the second one knock the first one off?
If yes then this is your problem
