Default Noob help

Hello and welcome everyone.

Im new here I have been looking thru the treads on here but dont understand what im looking for.

Im after a system where I can get all th VM channels for free. I was offerd a chipped box but dont know what to do.

Was hoping somone could explain to me what I need to do to get this.

I would like to know what equipment and stuff I need to do to achieve this.

I am currently on sky with sky BB and phone I read somewhere I need virgin bb to make this work is that true.

I have little pc knowledge so is there a easy way to do this or do I pay for a chipped box.

Please can someone take the time to explain this to me.

Many thanks Garry

You need a cable connection, broadband or basic package, you need some equipment to mod a card type box, programmer, j tag or led simm, and maybe an unlooper, depending on what box. Or take a look at the eurovox, starview, kryptview type box which are just programmed with a rs 232 null modem cable, If you look in the private fta section for our downloads site you will find the pace cable guide or cable for dummies, which will give you an idea on modding a card (ex cable co ) box.

Hopefully I'm after a plug and play system im new to all this.

Was just trying to find out what the best piece of kit is for me as I have no idea dont really want to program cards and all that. But if that is the way then I guess thats what I will have to do.

I havent got any box yet but was looking for the best one to buy so I can then research that. It needs to be able to record tv like sky + as well I hope that helps on what im looking for.

Please can somone reccommend me a box so I can then research it a bit.

if not live nothing will work just get a basic package like phone and free view, just post anywhere there ask them what box is best for you and tell them what you want to do with it like record tv
