Modem Down

Im in Grimsby (pure) and as of this morning my modem went down as did a friends in another adjoining area, although a mates further into my area is still on, any ideas if Vermin have changed anything or how to get back online?

To post on here im using our subbed modem so i know the lines are working and it was running yesterday too, i dont know how to get into any of the stuff that tells you what is wrong or telnet etc, i only do my tv and usually me m8 does the modem's but he is unavailable so im stuck.

Dunno if it makes any difference but 2 days ago there was a Vermin outage in my area where all tv boxes went down then came back on about an hour later, i dunno if subbed were affected as i only got told about bent boxes

I'm in grimsby too but haven't had chance to check my modem but by the sounds of it mine will be down as well.

Guisborough seems to be down as with these dynamic configs as of yet Middlesbrough still up and running ive done loads of serach's for dynamic configs but i cant seem to find anything on them as of yet..

the only way around the encryption for now lies in the ambit 120 macs (the ones startin 0002), ive found a few of these on tftp server 10.137.103.3 all with unencrypted rts98.cm configs.

what i done was to write one of the 00:02 ambit120 macs to the modem, 1stly without forcing configs, i let the modem come online and done a google search for something random like nintendo to check that the net was working.

then i tried an rts22.cm config on 10.137.103.3 and it worked so then i tried cmreg-vmng300-rts50.cm on 10.137.103.2 and that worked too!

so what you all need are a few good 120 macs starting with 00:02 and you can start forcing again.............. for now.............

yes, it has allready been pointed out to me that 00:02:8a macs are from the 200 not the 00:do macs from the 120 as ive pointed out above, its coming up up as a 120 config for these macs so thats what ive called them..thank smoggy07
