Default Keys, how do I manually do it

Hi Guys
I looked for a thread on this but couldn't find anything I needed.
I have the diablo and cas3 programmer and have updated the keys everytime I see a new one. It works great, but I see tons of people talking about different channels open if they input a manual key.
My probs are
1. Never, and dont know how to do that
2. Is there channels available by doing that, other than what diablo opens
3. Where do you get keys from and what do they look like lol
( I know they dont look like a house key )
Would one of you lovely people give me some guidance please
cheers

HI

You can put keys in either via your receiver remote or using fausto(if you have gone that route). With the remote there are two options Hex or Dec.Dec is the easy one its a sequence of numbers.Keys are on the net,try JKF or sat pimps.

You manually enter the keys, in a Diablo Cam, by first entering the Cams menu, using your receivers options.
You then enter the following sub menus:
Underworld xxx
Keys
List Keys Edit
Now you enter the encryption standard that the channel you wish to enter keys for uses, e.g. for Digi TV you enter Nagravision 2.
Locate the channel/provider and enter the keys.
In the Diablo Key 86 = Key 00, Key 96 = Key 01.

Fausto is a software utility for use with a Diablo Cam, among other things you can edit a keys bin file and update a CAID's file.

It's always wise to update to the latest Underworld file, unless it's just a new file to fix some bugs for the Wi Fi Cam, as this will contain the latest keys and save you from Canal Digital going off when they change keys.

As for the keys try doing this for Digi TV after loading Underworld 166.
Also download Fausto and try updating some keys using that, check this thread:
Updating the Keys bin file using Fausto

i have downloaded it and tried to do the instructions given in the link but I am having problems.
i load the key bin into fausto, click on nv2 + then digitv and +
click on the key (00) and then on the right hand side it shows the value etc. what i dont understand is why i have to copy and paste or type anything, and where to put it, as the value address bar has a key in it at this point.

If the key is the correct one then you don't need to type anything. The last key change, for Digi TV, was Key 01, which is Key 96 on the Diablo, you simply replace the old key with the new updated key.

If Digi TV doesn't open then there's a good chance that the keys aren't right
You can soon find the keys posted on the internet, and the last key change for Digi TV is in the Satellites folder, Diablo Cam sub folder.
