could some one give me some advice please ive looked around and done some searches but cant seem to find what im looking for my m8 has a 250 we used soft to put the p back and flashed it with hax it was all ok once i left him alone with it he did some playing now i dont think Tarnovsky could get back into it anyway i know hes going to ask me to help with a 2 meg dump but not to sure as ive never done i where do i start ?

set your nic to 192.168.100.10 and then try

Aint had a look at the thing mysely yet but hes been on the phone a few times and hes really having trouble lol hes been reading on here about the 2 meg dump he still has the p option on the modem

OK you need to find out a few things...

what's he doing in hyper terminal and that? i mean if the modem was working what's he trying to flash it again for?

Is he called kilvo by any chance?

I think what he may have done is enter a tftp ip in to the modem ip field or something.

If you want a 2Mb dump for the 250 I've got one I can send you. Takes 2 mins.

please m8 with a few pointers on how to do a 2meg dump or do u do just like flashing infinite if so happyy days

so when putting a meg dump on do you option p then download and save to flash then sector 0 like this
Next when asked do you wish to store it then press '
Y' and Enter,
then sector to Start press 0 (zero) enter, modem will start
working flashing.

Store Parameters [n] just press enter
