Forced Config - Works on Upload speed but download speed barely changing

Hi, i was forcing the 50meg config and was getting about 30meg down up until last week when i got a little worried it would stand out quite blatently so i changed back down to a 20meg config. Then recently whenever i force a config i get the desired upload rate but not download rate. Im using haxorware and am using the buisness config to get 1meg upload and suposably 20meg down. Ive also tried this with different config but the same still happens :/

Any help would be really appreciated

I too have experienced similar issues forcing a business config. Worked fine getting anything betweeen 9-17meg which isn't bad for first attempt, then several hours later stopped working, changed config, server ip, mac add, still not working - It says operational, but cannot get google or any other web page.

Its confusing, i too would appreciate any help.

Have to disabled then re-enabled your lan?

Am not at home, did try this, also tried an ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew.

Will try again when i get back, perhaps this is why.

Hi, im using speedtest to test, which i know isnt the most reliable source but its usually a good guide, before when ive had 10mb config its gave me 10, when ive had 20 its gave me 20 and now its reporting between 2 and 7 meg :S

Hi, ive restarted the router and modem, tried it with different macs and tcips but not much luck. Though i did find that when i changed the tcip i ended up getting 6-7 meg on average instead of 2meg

Thats what i got initially, try changing tcip and you should get a few extra meg, its not a solution but its a slight improvement i suppose :/
