Question Reading a funcard 4

Hi guys! I'm trying to read a funcard 4 in order to obtain the BK for my pace 4001. This is what I've done using the infinty usb phoenix progger: I put the card in, I then read it. I then saved the exteep as a hex file. I used swapbin hex to convert it to a bin file. I then opened the card image using nagra edit 4.1 but an error message came up saying that the card space is invalid or something like that. Where am I going wrong guys?? I'm just trying to read the card to get the BK for the box...Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys! Thanks in advance! Kimi.

sounds right if its a rom 11 for instance the extension will be .bn11 but it should read the .bin in nagraedit usually asks first what rev is it?

try reading in XNCS 1.8

Thanks for the reply mate. Yeah, I did select rom 11 when the prompt comes up. I'll try XNCS mate.

I was able to read another fun no probs but I am struggling with this other funcard...When the exteep gets loaded up on the infinity, I opened it using note pad and instead of seeing loads of different numbers, the only thing that comes up is rows and rows of 'FF'. There are no numbers at all...

The card has been erased mate. The FFFFs mean that it's blank. You will have to LED SIMM the box to get the BK unless it has been written underneath.

Get bk + ird reader from the download section and read your original hex file
No nead for nagra or xncs with funcards
Has the box worked before with this card?

My mate has a mosc card as well which I'll get off him tomorrow. I'm going to try to read this for the BK. Am I right in thinking that the method is the same as the fun - i.e. read the card, save exteep as a bin file and open the card image with nagra edit?
