Unless you know what you are doing Testing/Repairing a psu then the answer is as simple as this, either see if you can buy one somewhere or pm me and I will sort the psu out for you, it's not just a simple matter of replacing caps with switch psu boards, it can be down to many components needing to be replaced and not just caps & diodes.

With all respect some people are asking my advise on these issues and not getting the unit sent to me so I can repair it at a very reasonable price, it's impossable to tell you whats wrong with a psu without looking it over and testing which components may have shorted, so I will say that if you can't get it repaired or a new psu for your box then only PM me if you want me to repair it which I will do at a decent price.

Could I aslo add one other thing, when the next hit comes along then my question is this, will Eurovoxes be able to update any new FW cos I heard that Eurovoxes will only be fit for the bin on the next hit, if this is the case then it's not worth forking out for a Eurovox repair if they ain't gonna work after the next Hit and would therfor be better off forking out for a Kryptview.

if there was a hit that knocked eurovoxes out completely rendering them fit for the bin only, then all the others similar units including kryptviews will probably be in a similar position as well. better off going for a dream clone as they are much cheaper, open source and lan capable.

I have EX1000SL when i load the software on it. it starts to load upto 85% and then the message says download failed and the box won't turn on. It stays on standbye RED light on. I have tried to turn on/off from the main socket, but no joy with it.

Again with other EX1000SL box when doing power scan it won't pick up any TP and carries on scanning upto 700 but nothing happens. I have tried this few times and it's same.

Can some one please help me on this two boxes.
