Hi, Dally i have problem with ex 1000 sl checked on forum for solution no joy, The problem is dead box when switched on led flashes red for mili second
but nothing. I then left box on for about 15 minutes unplugged then re-plugged box fired up. Worked all night but in morning it was back to square one. I checked psu and found D2( looks like bridge rectifier )wasnt soldered into one side of print looked like manufacturing fault so fixed it still no joy.R2 is also taking a bit of current and C5 warm its a 33mic looks like smoothing cap. I dont have a circuit diagram .But do you have any knowledge of this fault or do you know where i can get a schematic or power supply.

All the best Greenbones.

Hello mate,no capacitors should get warm ,ifthis is supplied by the diode you mentioned make sure it is no leaking and passing A.C. current.
