ive order a cas 2 plus the accessories for a cas 3 seperately. im presuming the cas 2 + is a cas 2 with the j-card, dummy card and the cable?

or have i just wasted a tenner?

i was so excited it was actually working and you can imagine the dissapointment when it started freezing. FTA work though so im thinking its the cam.

sorry twintown, let me explain a little better. as my previous post isnt too clear.

i have purchased a cas 2 from ebay as it was only £6 but it does not come with the j-card.

ive purchased the j-card, dummy card and the grey cable seperately.

i presume the grey cable will plug into the cas 2 just like on a cas 3 and ill be able to flash my cam to joker?

Yet again Duolabs strike back with another ground breaking device. The CAS INTERFACE 2+Plus.
The new Cas Interface 2+Plus is based on Cas Interface 3 technology giving much more features than the old Cas Interface 2 for Cam programming.
Cas Interface 2+Plus was born to give the user a low-cost C.A.M. programmer and browser.
This new release offers very advanced technical features. Unlike the CAS Interface 2, the CAS Interface 2+Plus can fully manage PCMCIA connectors and easily connect external additional modules.
However, the most interesting feature is the possibility of being able to emulate the PCMCIA port of a Common Interface (EN50221) receiver and thus use a Cam directly as if it were inserted in a receiver.
Consequently the CAS Interface 2+Plus can also be used by professionals to test a CAM (Conditional Access Module) without inserting it in a receiver.

All features are explained in the User Manual available to download from our site.
looks like u should be able to program the cam, cable should be ok the same 20 pin.

cheers
