It certainly has a better tuner. on testing here, the old one struggled with some channels, the A750 gets them all locked solid - it's probably a better looking box too

Can yer all please stop giving fantastic reports on this new KV cos I'm envious and I want one, but I'm skint fer a few weeks so I can't afford one yet so to make me feel good can some one post a thred saying somthin' like these new KV's are no better than the older version, then it will make me feel better.
Then in a few weeks when I can afford to get one, I'll let yer know just how bad/good this new box is.

hi guys
could someone tell me how the a750 compares to a eurovox max v. would i see an improvement in picture quality on a 37" plasma and is it as easy to use the max v when navigating through the epg etc. one other thing, as it's not got digital audio i take it that i can use the red and white stereo jack plugs to connect to an amp. thanks for any advise

I got one of these last week and yep, sleek design and nice and compact BUT no better than the older KV's if yer put latest EPG fix in, only difference is in apperance (own opinion on this issue) but havin' said this yer might as well get this new box, cos prob won't be able to get the older KV model.

One other issue, about 1 in 40-50 older KV's develop a psu issue (Blown psu's) and if yer not fluent in repairing these switch/psu's then they can be a pain in the arm to repair, But when I got my new KV I took it apart and looked at the circuit boards in em, and Tell yer what the psu in these units are basic and have about 35 compoments in em and al nicley spaced out to make testing blown components easier to repair.

Can't wait for some dude to pm me with a blown psu cos when this happens I'll send yer my photo's of the board and yer Granny will be able to repair the psu, So in my own opinion, this new kv is better in appereance and will be a sinch to repair if yer unlucky enough to get one with a blown psu.
