Hi there iv got a chipped D14001N box with a NTL paired card my box worked until the other morning i turned it on it had froze so i turned it off propley and when it came back on it was going through loads of numbers very fast on the front of the box and then stoped at 88.88 it wont do anything now is they any way i can fix it underneath my box they is number written with black marker pen cheers kellie.

that doesn't look good m8 but normally i do leave it on the power and it should sort itself out (may be over night) if that doesnt help get back to us and we can go to second stage.

hello there it has already been left for a few days on power but still on 88.88

Take the simm out of the box, carefully clean the simm contacts, and blow any dust away from and out of the simm slot.

Clean this as best you can, I used a can of air.

Check to see the sim sits tightly and properly upright in the slot, if it does not, is if its not firm and secure, bend the retaining clips to ensure a tighter grip on the simm.

If all fails, post back any results you have.

Sounds like you're gonna need to re-flow the atmels.

Not a easy task, I have heard, nor very reliable.

Erm.. I wouldn't have a clue.

You could try re-seating the simm again, perhaps it really is loose. I had to tighten my clips so that they were literally bent all the way over.

when you say sim you do mean the the green board that is sitting at the front inside the box as that is what i thought you ment
