what tools do i need?

rite im wanting to do my sammy 2100 the card has gone on it n i dont want to fork out for it doing all the time when i say gone my net id has some how gone back to 0999 so i want to do it myself instead of paying someone who will charge me 2 much so rather get my own stuff to do it myself in the future thanx could soneone pkz telk me wat i need? You will need a Funcard and a compatible Funcard Programmer. You will also need the Net ID software to change the Net ID to the one from your area. What cable area are you in? If you are in Pure, there is no need to reset the Net ID because it will adjust itself .

I use an infinity usb pheonix programmer which is pretty solid. I also have a funcard 4. You should be able to get both of these from lincsat's shop at the bottom of the forums.

How long's a piece of string??? That's a difficult one mate - they will last until Vermin change the encryption to nagra 3. This could come into play within the next year or so; maybe longer if we're lucky. For any changes before nagra 3, it's likely that a fix will be available when a hit takes place so we should be ok. Other than that, it's anyone's guess pal...

Possibly. But nobody knows for sure mate...it was always going to come to an end. It just depends if the guys that come up with all this stuff find a solution for nagra 3. I wouldn't be suprised if they did but at the same time, I wouldn't hold my breath either.
