I was trying to connect back to 50mb this morning and it wasnt working.. I worked my way up all the TFTP ips until I got to 10.137.103.8.

Anyone know how I can get 50mb now?
This is as much progess as I have made lol

Name cmreg-vmng300-rts50.cm Size 1172 bytes Compilance DOCSIS 1.010.137.103.8
cmreg-vmng300-rts50.cm

I am getting 20mb off that config at the moment.

Are you using a 20Mb mac?

EDIT: file size should be 1208

yeh 20mb mac
and i know its supposed to be 1208bytes.. i use to use that. Its on my pc too... but I can autoserve it or connect to a TFTP with that config

Looks like they may have done something with the 50Mb config

It will show as being used BUT you'll only get the speeds of the Mac you are using.

Try a 10Mb mac and use the 50Mb config then do a speed test.

Nope no other TFTP IP except 10.137.103.8 works and that only has 1.0 DOCSIS so that means it doesnt go to 38mb right?

Thats the server for my area, which according to virmin, does not yet support 50meg (enquired, as wanted to get subbed 50meg) they said it may very well support it in the future, pending upgrades.

Waiting game
