Hi.
Hope someone can help me out here!
I'm a noob with linux.
I have Ubuntu and kaffeine and have installed the required files for my card (technotrend c-1501). It is found in Kaffeine.
I've tried to create a channel file with w_scan but it will not find anything at all. Card worked ok with XP. I'm in a pure ntl area.
If anyone can shed any light i'd be most greatfull! Ubuntu is awesome! Don't want to have to go back!!

You'll have to give us a bit more to go on - I don't think anyone else uses Umbongo

What do you need to put into w_scan to create your channel file?

Think It's something like frequency, polarity, symbolrate, modulation. not sure if you would need polarity with cable, bone999 will have to work that one out!!!!!!!!!!
