I got Belkin Wireless G Router but cant seem to get online when i connect it to my PC and modem.

I can get online without the router but as soon s i connect this router i cant access the net. I havent got the cd setup coz I got it from car boot sale (£5.00) do i need that in order to set it up? if so a link would be nice.

PS: I notice when i connect the router to the pc and modem the internet light on the router keeps on flashing

Might sound silly but its not an adsl router is it? In which case mate it wont work with cable, just a thought......

how can i tell that? I mean it should say right? but its not written on it.

It is a dsl router which is designed for cable company broadband. ADSL is a system used for BT connections carrying telephone and broadband down the same line and separated by a filter.

If you are on a cable broadband connection then search for the Belkin easy setup wizard software.

is this the latest1 or there is newer version
