i have a 5101e with hax v 1.0rc5 in x telipex area is it just a matter of installing a 2mb dump of latest version of hax to update and what method is used to update.thanks for any help

I upgraded using the Web GUI. It only takes a minute or two and it doesn't disconnect you from the internet

I think it's different for rc5. The instructions come with the download for rev31 on the haxorware site.

Can,t upgrade from 1.1rc4 this way.....

Is there another way to Upgade from 1.1rc4...on a SB5101E...other than sh*ty Blackcat lead + sofware?

If you can't do it with the GUI then you will most likely have to upgrade with the Blackcat or you could try and Telnet into the modem but i'm not sure if this would work.

I have Telnet enabled in Hax but i thinck Bad_ad said Telnet was for Minor changes only

Upgrade through telnet, make sure it's enabled in haxorware, then just disable it on start up once upgraded.

thx leeds ill have a go tomorrow one other thing though will it have to be the full flash with the bin or the 2mb file ??ive not done one b4 so just want to make sure and try to avoid bricking it.I read somewher wher it said if it already has hax then its just the 2mb file.
