hi guys just on a vista set up using a downloaded hyperterminal but can,t seem to get the modems to flash never had these problems on xp just getting a timeout error in hyper.

Check your version of hyperTerminal ...you could try version 5 "Private Edition" it runs on my Vista laptop no problem @ all.
