Default Strange speed issues

for the last few days all 20mb macs have been 10mb down 756k up but today any 20mb macs ( and ive tried 15+) are all 2mb down 756k up.

I;ve changed the modem serial number to the mac address without the colons.

Cant force as it doesnt work.

Any ideas?

:\

Same problems for me... Every single MAC returns a 2MB speed.

Im running sigma X2, may that be the problem?

Try forcing, it may very work again for you, it does for me.

Also, update to rev31, it stopped a none forced 20meg mac from being really sluggish, not sure if there is a reason.

Im still forcing though, 20meg config, stable for a week now.

EDIT: Also, the Maidenhead server is NOT accurate. I got faster results from american servers. >_>
Try the london one, its more accurate looking at my averages for the last month...

According to Maidenhead my average is 9 down, 700k up
According to London however, my average is 17 down, 700k up

cheers mate, when i reconnected modem directly ( to start update to rev31)

Thought id do a quick speed test and it gets 20mb down now..

So they must be throttling the MACS now to 2mb instead of banning them??

im confuzzled lol

edit: plugged router back in, new mac for router and it gives 20mb..
