Default cable on pc

hi,
i have a TwinhanDTV pc card & im having problems using dvbviewer v3.9.2.0 & DVB prog both not picking up any channels...not sure if im using the correct transponder file. im in 5c01 area...

can someone please help??

If you have a dodgy version of DVBViewer it wont work! here is the first line of my ProgDVB cable.ini

[CABTYPE]
1=10
2=DVB-C NTL UK
3=C
[DVB]
0=63
1=315000,6952,64

obviously there are 63 different frequencies (indicated by 0=63)
the next line shows the frequency (315000), symbol rate (6952) and Qam (64)
you need to find the base frequency for your area and then work up in 8Mhz steps so the next one would be 323000
you also need the correct symbol rate for your area, mine is 6952, a quick search should fine the SR for your area
Leave the qam setting at 64
If you end up with less than 63 entries then alter 0= to the correct number.

Their are plenty of software options with this card such as DVBDream, GBPVR, MyTheatre and mediaportal plus others I can't think of right now.
