Hi, guys.
I have an Ambit 255 flashed with Infinite and ive been unable to get online since Wednesday night im in Teesside.
Tried changing the tftp and different macs and configs but i keep getting the message ' your network adapter does not have a valid ip configuration '. Have tried spoofing the network adapters mac address but makes no difference.
I have borrowed a legit modem for the time being and that connects up fine.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers!

Only advice having not used infinite myself, would be to upgrade to haxorware.

AFAIK this can be done by telnet, do a search, there are threads about this somewhere, i too will try to find them for you

EDIT: See this thread: 250 infinate to Haxorware

Mine have been down for a couple of days too, in Bournemouth, using 250's with haxor. I've tried a combination of macs and the best I can get at the moment is 2Mb - Better then nothing though. I've tried forcing but get no service.

Still cannot force, but trying all the macs I had found a couple that are 10Mb, happy days.

Anyone know anyone who can unbrick a 255 ?
if your modem was bricked, how did you flash it to haxorware ?
if its with serial/telnet and tftpd, then its not bricked, since its still responding
if it was bricked and you had to JTAG it, then im sure you can do it again
