Hi i dont know if anyone can help me here but i have a 255 modem with haxorware 1.1 rev 32, cant seem to get on line with it im using dhcp sniffer, trying different macs still no joy, this is whats coming up, any help would be great please.

doesnt seem to be getting a config from the tftp, suggest trying them all

Hi you mean try all macs, on modem i get power light ethernet, then send/recieve flashing. thnx in advance

Remove any configs you are trying to force see that helps also check your BPI (Baseline Privacy) settings disable it if not enable it to docsis 1.0 then try

might be a silly question should my filename be cmreg-ntlhm250-rts22.cm - or cmreg-ntlhm256-rts22.cm or does this not matter

hi no joy still, as u can see my server ip is blank cd say put tftpip ere ??
Settings-

General:

Factory Mode - Unticked
Disable Firmware Upgrades - Ticked
Force Network Access - Ticked
Tftp Enforce Bypass - ticked
Ignore Unknown Messages-Ticked
Disable IP Filters on Startup - ticked

Config File: (put config filename here)
Server IP: (put tftpip here)

Filename: Whatever you wish for your filename to use, if you want to force the 20mb option, then use - cmreg-ntlhm256-rts22.cm for NTL area, once again TW etc will be different.

Autoserve disabled
Stored cfg/store new config - no need to do anything here.

Press Save

Baseline Privacy:

BPI disabled

I got back from holiday 2 weeks ago, while I was away, all modems in S.Wales area magically started working again and are still working. Some have forced configs, other's have been less fortuante but at least they can get online.

I'll try and post more info if anyone thinks it may help them.

dunno if this helps anyone but im in a pure nt/hell area+noticed that when i logged into my subbed 20mb modem it tells me that the d/s frequency is now changed to 299000000 Hz..my mate has a cloned mac with my own mac on it (i let him naturally)+it wos workin fine until the d/s freq changed recently..hope that bit of info helps some of u guyz out..

P.S. soz i dont get online here much cos im really busy atm..good 2 see the forums still goin strong!! keep up the good work guyz..)
