Just had my 20mb mac knocked off after 2 and a half months time to try and sniff another 1 thankfully got a few 10mb reserves might wait a few days and see if the 20 will come back alive, was an odd way to go the evnt log was giving me ds lock failed reinit mac then like there was no signal with the failed to aquire fec/qam then finnaly the DHCP failed request sent no offer received reinit mac!

another noob question..

I've managed to get online again after changin to a mac I got from DHCP sniffer, but as I only seem to find dynamic configs does that mean I can't force using some of the configs in the forums?

Don't mind too much now I'm back online but wud be fun playin about wit it tho I think it just has to be a trial and error of changin hfc mac if its all dynamic configs? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Its the Belfast area..

Are you changing you're computer mac? I've had a stable 2mg connection for over 2 weeks now, anything faster seems to get kicked off pretty quick.
