If it is rebooting like you say, I think its a bad MAC but you would need to provide more detailed info for more in depth problem solving to be done.

Hi guys am having a problem connecting, am a newbie to Modded Modems and just got a Motorola SB5101e. Pre-flashed with Haxorware 1.1 Rev32.

My cable is active as I have a dbox connected to it, and cable is working as I can watch Sly Sports and Movies. Am in Ireland, with my cable provider as Chorus, a subsidiary of UPC owners of NTL Cable.

Now my issue is this, can 1 have cable working and not have Internet working through the same cable?? Am not sure if it's MMDS Cable or Normal cable, anyway of knowing how to differentiate this?

I have posted snapshots of my modem, tried 3 different MACs with no joy, could some1 shed some light where am going wrong?

There are 3 Frequency’s

586750000 for ex C+W area

402750000 for NTL area

331000000 for Telewest area

looks like you have wrong frequency.

there are far more frequencies than those

im c+ w lancashire i have 5 frequencies which modem locks onto and provides net axx, providing you have the right mac for that frequency

Hi Ant, am not in UK am in Ireland, and those are the freq. I have gotten from a mate. Though he lives in a different area, am wondering if there is a program that I could run and et my local areas Freq.

Apart from Freq. is there anything else that seems out of place?
