Hi,Could anyone point me in the right direction setting up my Ambit 255 with Haxorware 1.1 Rev 31.
Im in Middlesbrough. My modem has been offline for a few months but i thought i would give it another go.
Ive just tried 3 new MAC addresses and none of them work, the furthest i get is 'Ranging Complete'or 'IP complete' and keeps scanning and ranging.
Configuration Settings:
Factory mode unticked, Disable firmware upgrades ticked,Force Network access ticked, TFTP enforce bypass unticked, Ignore unknown messages ticked, Disable ip filters unticked.
Frequency:
Annex both, Plan European, Fr1 402750000, Fr2 331000000, Fr3 331000000.Upstrem channel 2.
Addresses HFC mac and USB mac the same apart from 1 letter higher in USB mac, Ethernet mac is working sniffed mac..
Serial number 0014A4C2C24432
Certificate type Motorolla DOCSIS.
Config File:
Server IP 10.137.103.8
File name blank
Autoserve config file disabled, Store new config blank.
Baseline Privace (BPI+DOCSIS 1.1) Have tried disabled as well!
Everything else blank.
Advanced Static IP:
Force ststic IP unticked
Supress DHCP requests unticked
IP address 192.168.100.11
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.100.1
TPTP and Tod IP 10.137.103.8
TFTP Filename cmreg-ntlhm120-rts22cm.
Everything else pretty much blank.
Is there any specific type of MAC i should be using or not be using? Im in pure ntl area. ALso would it be better for me to upgrade to one of the newer versions of Haxorware?
Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

Hi All,

Can someone help me please, I have about 10 sb4200 and sb5100 running in birmingham but about 2 weeks ago they all went down. The online light never goes solid. I have changed macs, removed the config name but still no joy.

Can anyone help with this please.

Thanks.

My Ambit 255 has just stopped working in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. I have tried a few MACs which I knew worked last week, and I get stuck on ranging

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it back up?
