Default Down and Out - Need to get back Online

Hi Guys,
There seems to be alot of modems going down but does anyone know the root cause to the problem? Whats changed? Ive been advised to try a few different things but nothing has worked e.g try a different mac/config file and change tftp server addy.

Has anyone in Birmingham had similar problems + how have they managed to resolve the problem. Any help will be much impreciated

Hi All,
Im still having problems with my surfboard 5100. I have tried a couple of things i.e different mac addresses and tftp ip's but no luck

Please can someone advise, what has changed to cause the modem to go down. Ive heard talk about config file changes, frequency's etc

Config: cm-20480-768

Im from Birmingham. Would be grateful to anyone could help resolve the problem.

Force / Aserve will likely fail. Set freq to the (old) docsis 1.0 one and use a slow MAC - 2meg at 1st, that should get you on.

Ignore the CVC error. I actually told you a couple of times before how to stop that popping up but you've not done / not saved it lol
CVC check disable posted by someone in telnet commands thread (will work in Haxor web shell also) here:
