Hi Chaps

I had got a Scientific Atlanta 2100 modem which is hacked. It has worked perfectly for about 4 months and now its is off. The cable light just flashes and it cannot connect to the internet.

I have done a bit of searching on google and read about Haxorware etc and it may just be a case of me changing the MAC address.

Does this seem likely and how do i find out what i have on the modem (ie Haxorware etc.)

Thanks for any hlep.

stick modem on, type 192.168.100.1 in your internet explorer web browser and it should tell you wich firmware you r using

if your mac starts off like 00:14:A4 then its the reason why you are down. seems like they have become extinct

Im running a epc2100 modem on haxoware and was fine until yesterday

Im in Wigan and Ive had few of my m8s with same setup drop yesterday too...

Is there a reason for this or are they just dead and buried now ??

Exclamation Re: Any modems down post here

hi everyone i have a haxorware v1.1r39 and the last 2 days it gave me only 2 errors headache and no internet. error s: t001.0 sync timing synchronisation failure failed to acquire qam/qpsk symbol timing and t002.0 failed to acquire fec framing. modem keeps scanning forever without any foreseeable hope to lock to any frequency. no matter how many macs i try above problem is still there. found strange value in signal: receive power -914.2dBmw ! never saw such an abnormal value. tried to up/downgrade the fw change all settings in modem but the problem still persists. please help. to post this was a nightmare because shity n86 keeps on crashing and there is no native copy/paste support! what kind of morron made mistake like that?! thanks.
