old pace n*l cable box

Hello
I'm looking for a bit of advice and support regarding a old pace n*l box! I have a box that had been chipped in the past and a old n*l card. The problem is that the guy who did it for me has moved away so i can't get it re-programed. I know the box had has it's talk back cut and there's a bunch of numbers on the bottom of it in marker pen which I belive is the code... I rekon I could re-program the n*l card but I don't know which hardware I need or programs could anyone start me off and give me a rundown of what to do

Lol hope the cards not fried.

Have a search on this section magpie, files and tuts are in downloads, pace cable guide (novice angel guide) is a good one.
