Eurovox Max Blue Box...devil display?

Hi guys can you help please.....!
connected box to cable feed other day but nothing on power up
display reads when on/ 6E66. Have flashed with latest software but no joy!...same problem persists can u give me some advice on what to do?

can this be fixed

Hi and welcome to Techwatch

if the box is not responding to the remote you have probably lost the scart signal

disconnect your scart
connect some coax cable from the TV / VCR socket of the eurovox to the TV
tune your telly to the VCR channel where you will get the 'enter pin' screen
using your remote enter the master pin which is 1004.
go to menu and clear data, then do a factory reset.
plug your scart back in and do a powerscan as normal

Thanks for the advice SMOGGY tried exactly what you suggested, but not good results ):, tv rf image appears very static and unable to control menu guide properly
due to everything being distorted hard to operate properly to try'n clear data or re-scan, would it be possible to get around this another way!...with a more positive result? cheers.D:?

this is the sequence to do a factory default reset on your box without being able to see whats happening on the TV screen.
with your box connected to TV as normal
switch your box on and make sure you point the control at the box
very carefully enter the following sequence

1004
menu
right,right,right (arrow keys)
down,down (arrow keys)
OK
1004
down
OK,OK,OK

wait a few minutes whilst box resets itself and hopefully you will get a distorted picture showing that your scart is working again.
then reflash with the correct firmware
