ok i got 3 cloned modems 2 give me 2 meg and cannot be changed at all in the config tool all i get now is cannot connect to modem 192 etc,
other one is on on haxorware which i,ve had running now when i use a mac which is valid i get the following errors T002.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing
2009-04-01 20:53:28 Critical T001.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
2009-04-01 20:53:26 Critical T002.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing
2009-04-01 20:53:20 Critical T001.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
2009-04-01 20:53:19 Critical T002.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing
soon as it gets to getting time it reloops again and starts all over again so its running for hours with no connection at all, thanks in advance to anyone who can help

I was getting the same earlier, in pure area.

Was changing router's mac, hfc mac, usb mac & modem serial number and it came back on for 20-30 mins then went again. but its been on stable now for 3 hours, using mac from further away ( about 6-7 miles)

i,m in pure ntl everything gone t**s up cant connect to config 250 and haxorware is a nightware cannot get a connection even with a decent mac

hmm I'm in ntl pure area and back to normal now after a few days offline last week with my clone

what macs are you getting when you sniff, encryped configs????

i,m using a normal working config file, but the haxorware one will not connect with same mac address justs goes into a loop and resetting

Been alright here in pure aswell with haxoware and infinite. Not a problem.

just type cmreg-ntlhm250-rts22.cm in the config page in haxorware leave the tftp ip setting blank

Try spoofing your nic, and modem ethernet mac (not hfc!!) also change the modem serial no.

This worked for me.

spoofed nic loads of times still no joy, it just reloops, left it running for hrs still nothing, tried 100s of macs nothing, even tried one which i know works off my other 1 still no joy, i,m not forcing a config either

Try a reset to factory,

then carefully enter all your settings starting yourself at the most basic level of service.
