Correct but i was told you cant put Haxo on the original Mx chips
how true this is i dunno but it comes from a guy who suplies mx and spansion chips and programmers

hi guys an girls this is totaly new to me ive got a 256 aint a clue what to do to get it to work as were im now living ive got bt but this is so slow can any one help me what do i need to get the 256 to work any help would be greatfull thanks

@colinm - if you havent got a virgin/ntl/telewest cable feed coming into your house you cant do nothing with it.

however if you have........... and your good at soldering...go on ebay and buy ureself SPI chip, then follow tutorials on here somewhere to swap the chips.

This will put haxorware onto ur modem, allowing you to swap macs, configs etc.

OR unless you wana go down the max232 route and flash the modem yourself then search these forums for the tutorial.
