Default New HTPC Build-All channels blocked except RTE1 & Paramount

Morning all,

I mentioned this issue at the end of another thread but I think it needs to be in this section.

I have just built a new HTPC.
Vista with a FloppyDTV.
BlueZeta cam flashed to Joker0.79
Funcard 4 Programmed with latest fix and bin file from Chatterbox
Latest keys from Chatterbox.
NTL Dublin Ireland

When I scan, MC finds 160 channels but all are scrambled except RTE1, Paramount and a few Euronews channels. I have tried leaving it on RTE1 for a few hours but it makes no difference.

I had a similar problem with my old HTPC before Christmas.
Could this be Nagra3 related?
Could someone on NTL Dublin check their working keys against the ones currently on Chatterbox?

Any tips guys?

Thanks,.
Wavey.

I dont think it is N3.

N3 has knocked out about 10 channels so far.
I can only recieve 2 or 3 channels at the moment.

I think it is the same problem that this guy was having.

It is as if the cam is not decrypting anything at all.

Hi Wawey,

I'm in the same boat as yourself except my dual tuner system went down so now a useless media centre and extender. Anyway as i understand you can get a "Diablo Cam" with Nagra 3, then if you sign upto NTL Sub and get the box key from the decoder they give you should then be able to insert it into your Diable CAM once flashed with the same box key and be back on track.

One thing i'm not sure of but i think someone here could answer is if the NTL Tech can call in with the box key of your cam in the first place and save you the need for getting the box key of your decoder or do they come pre paired. That i don't know and would be intrested in finding out myself.

Cheers

Maybe ? to be honest i'm not i'm not 100% up on Nagra three, i just know that the Polsat cam and card are paired so you would need to do the same for any Cam you pair with a UPC Card. But as if there is actually a Nagra three image for the Diablo Light i'm don't know... I'd love to say Get a Diablo, Flash thing image and get your Box Key etc but i don't know, Sorry Wavey :-) But i'm still considering getting a Diable CAM to see what i can get upto.

Cams usually have a number on them that you use as a bk,or you get one with the firmware joker etc, ird you can make up, you cant use the boxkey off your stb thats just for that box.
You wont get any nagra 3 firmware it hasnt been hacked yet.
The engineer calls in with serial and cam id numbers off card and box, or scans them with pda, then a hit is sent that pairs the card back to the box
