software 4 mac address!!??

hello, could someone please help me 2 find the software i need 2 flash(if this is the right word?) my modem? ive heard of ambit but dont no where to find it? cheers

what modem do you have?

if its flashing that you want you need to use a ftp program such as solarwinds and hyperterminal or putty.
read the tuts, theres plenty in them

Well, you can find them all on Google. Hyperterminal is built into win2000/XP although not in vista.

Putty is the same thing, free, and vista supports it, very easy to use.

Not used Solarwinds, so cannot comment.

Try to use a little initiative, searching is your best friend and given you have been told what you need, surely its not too difficult to google it?

hi mate they r on stickys read the tuts also check the fta section u will get the dowloads there u will also need 232cable

Well m8 you have a lot of reading to do, get your self a copy of Haynes modem guide which is a good place to start.
or you will get confused with what people post on here it will tell you everything you need to know just Google search for it.

Then look for a MAX232 cable on ebay you can pick one up for around a £10.
