I've answered my own question. Thinking of getting one from Lincsat's . Just wondering will I need serial lead for the Infinity USB Phoenix Programmer?

I think most of them can use serial or usb.
I got the Cas 3 programmer from Duolabs.
Not sure if it is working for me yet though.

Twintown,

The NTL chaos hex file, is that specific to different NTL areas? My provider is NTL Dublin, Ireland.
I ask because MCE has found most of the channels but all but 2 FTA channels are encrypted. I have the same problem in DVBviewer or Firedtv viewer.
It dosent make any difference if the card is in or out of the Cam.
Surely I should be able to watch all the NTL provide FTA channels?

Confused in Dublin.

Yes, I read about Nagra 3 today but I dont think that is the problem as only 9 or 10 channels have been ecrypted with it so far.
I could be wrong.

I think the Card is is programmed ok.

I used the NTL_CHAOS_FUN_FIX_271108 as my flash.
I used NTL.Bn11 and added my BK and up to date keys for my ext eeprom. Then renamed the ext eeprom to .bin
I left the int eeprom blank.
I left the IRD blank.

Im not sure what you mean by "single tier blockered img"

I have read that you need to leave the tuner on a FTA channel for 20mins to allow all the keys to update. Is this correct?
Or should you leave it on an encrypted channel?

Is it possible to get a legit NTL smartcard and copy that using Nagredit and my CAS programmer?

Thanks for the help Twintown.

Wavey.
