I left the IRD blank.

Im not sure what you mean by "single tier blockered img"

I have read that you need to leave the tuner on a FTA channel for 20mins to allow all the keys to update. Is this correct?
Or should you leave it on an encrypted channel?

Is it possible to get a legit NTL smartcard and copy that using Nagredit and my CAS programmer?

Thanks for the help Twintown.

Wavey.

I might take you up on that in a while.
It seems my timing is bad anyway.
NTL rolled keys today.

So long as you've got an AU flash file for your area, and know how to use a keyboard and mouse, programming a Funcard couldn't be easier!

Once you've got the AU flash file (usually from a toolbar), then it's just a case of putting the right files on the card - have a look at post 2 here - little bit of help please! - being too lazy to re-type!

Well I've just received my Programmer and I've used NagraEdit, but wasn't sure what the IRD was so I just left that how it was and finally created my bin file.

Now when I use Infinity USB and insert my Fun4 Card it always says "The CPU on the selected Prusiancard2 was not detected. Normally a PrusianCard2 contains a detectable CPU.". Should I ignore this message and continue?

Also where do I put the Chaos Fix hex file from Nov08?

Fixed the first problem myself. I just had to re-connect the Programmer, now I just need to know where to put the Chaos Fix hex file from Nov08 and if its OK to use the default IRD.

Chaos fix goes in the flash, your bin in the exteep.
