Well done for googling MAX232.

This is something that really does need to be done.

The forum is there to help, yes, but you must do the groundwork yourself, and if you do find it difficult to find info, then ask after you have done an exhaustive search not just here but google also.

As people have noticed, I moan about people telling people to search, but it is a key factor in this game. You have to learn your **** or you're gonna be severely stumped. As far as the guides are concerned, they may be difficult to follow as a noob, but you can't expect a full explanation of each item that is involved.

That's just making it too easy. Seriously though, well done for researching the MAX232 and not just starting a thread about it. You'll probably make a successfull cable modem modder. If more people done this before asking questions, the forum would be an easier place to read.
