unable to flash eurovox max red 2007

My eurovox max red has died on me , all that happens is the 4 horizontal lines stay on for a couple of seconds , then go off then the smaller leds come on one by one in an anti clockwise circular motion , then it repeats. I have jtaggged it and it goes through the sequence of erasing and writing until it says end and then i have been trying to flash it but after it completes the write sequence it says write sequence failing and iam back to square one.
