sometime if you have a soldering iron just heat it up and put it to the soldering points just to make sure all points are fine this should be the easiest way of doing it but dont go too far with the soldering iron u dont want to make a mess lol

found the sensor, doesnt look a major job to replace, ill wait till the new remote arrives just in case the old one IS faulty

where to get a new sensor though?
