trying to sewt up my motor to 5 west, trying to input lat and long in my technomate, cant input minus 6.0278, dunno how too....

also dunno weather its supposed to by west or north etc

help

It is west, you can't enter minus, just click on the E or W to the right with the OK button, and it will swap between E or W.

Go to dishpointer.com to get a rough idea of the azimuth angle.

Pick a good tranponder on 5W, 11512V looks good from here, and adjust for a signal on that.

ok azimuth angle being the angle i need for the dish, +there is settings on it the same as the motor and i had an idea it was wrong...

Azimuth (true): 178.8°
Azimuth (magn.): 183.5°
which of those, both from dishpointer

Just look at where the green line points, and direct it that way.

same thing again robbo, moved motor dish all together towards the direction of the green line , and now 90 % level qua;ity still 8%, take it i have to stick at it moving it etc till i get a proper signal
