Default my twinhan has lost it drivers.

afternoon all,

yeah after all that suffering of getting a twinhan and getting it set up and working with my pc and vplug up and running after an initial format and then another format and pulling cards and that all out, had it all working and now turned me bloody PC on and "found new hard ware" thing popped up! omg!

i have tried all the drivers that i have with the manufacturer's disk and all the other drivers that i can think of but I've still got the yellow marks next to the hardware...what a twa*!

before i kick the side of this machine and stamp the mo board into pieces any one got any ideas or driver advice to get it working again....i don't think i can bare seeing a fresh install of windows again with out seeing red.!

any ideas?

Thanks

hi, OK copied the whole manufacturers disk to the desktop and also to C drive and then pointed the driver installation to that folder and nothing, says cannot install the driver as the software is not found blah blah....

What card is it? What OS are you using? I would get the last available driver from twinhans website (just the driver not the software) uninstall the devices (should be 2 if BDA drivers and i think more if you use the older WDM) from control panel, go to the bios and load fail safe settings (Can't hurt can it but make sure USB keyboard/ mouse are enabled if you have them) then install the drivers you just downloaded.

if ur system wont restore check in the system properties / system restore is mointoring all drives.....u may have malware or a virus on ur machine preventing this and the installation of drivers...try a scan with malwarebytes....

h**p://www.malwarebytes.org/

1. Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
2. Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
3. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
4. Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan. The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
5. When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
6. Make sure that everything found is checked, and click Remove Selected.
7. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
8. The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

cheers

Not sure it's related, but I had exactly the same problem with my TT C-1501 - TT C1501 stopped working!. Never did manage to get it to recognise the card again and ended up having to buy a new one. Fired off a few emails to DVBShop and Technotrend about an RMA, but never managed to get a reply back.

My suggestion would be to try getting the shop you bought it from to RMA it (based purely on my experiences).
