If you use Floppy or Fire DTV-C's, they have MCE drivers taht pretend to be DVB-T cards and so work natively in MCE/VMC and VMC + TV Pack. Have to use hardware cams.

If you use other cards, you'll have to use dvbsbridge, there was a limit of one card with this method, although I remember that multiple tuner cards was not too far away and might be out. Can use softcams (I beleive).

Yes you can, you would also need to CAMs (obviously).

There are expensive at the minute, exchange rate is a killer...

So I finally got dvbsbridge working (in a fashion). Didn't seem to like co-existing with my dvbs card as when i tried to go through tv setup vmc kept crashing. Disabled my dvbs card and then dvbdream wouldn't start therefore stopping me from scanning. Sighs... Anyway managed to clean it all up and then finally it running. Haven't got any epg data at the moment, so that's next on the list along with getting my dvb-s back on somehow. Seems a bit flakey in that sometimes vmc thinks the tuner is in use when it's not. Not sure if I'll stick with it....
Anyone else using this dvbsbridge with dvbdream as long term setup?
