Anyone used SB5100MoD.1.0.4.Beta ? Im having a nightmare with my 5100 rebooting all the time so was thinking of giving this ago, any input would be cool

yep been using it for ages now with no trouble at all great firmware its a shame Tom isn't updating it any more but then its perfect as it is!

Ok got it running and im impressed it seems more stable for sure, only issue is how do you get admin controls to show in gui? I guess its via telnet in someway

Does anyone know if this firmware will work on a 5100E I presume it will want to run it in ex telepest, I know the E's will work here as the I's wont work in E areas, just need to know if its good for the E....

hmm network light is only one that works blackcat still see's the flash though :S

SB5100E tuner settings

Downstream Tuner Type = 17 (VENDOR TUNER)
Upstream Amp Type = 13 (MAXIM 3516)

look in post-telnet-commands-here for telnet commands.
